What actually makes a good fleet livery

A fleet vehicle is a billboard that refuses to stand still. It gets three seconds of attention from people driving the other way, half-glancing at a junction, or walking past in a car park. Good fleet livery is designed for those three seconds — nothing else.
That means restraint. One message, one contact point, one strong visual. The vans that work hardest are rarely the busiest. They're the ones where the brand, the service and the phone number survive being read at speed, in the rain, from a bad angle.
Consistency matters more than creativity across a fleet. When ten vans share a layout, the public reads them as one brand — and every sighting compounds the last. We build fleet designs as systems: the same logic applied whether the vehicle is a compact van or a Luton box, so the fleet looks intentional rather than adapted.
On the production side, repeatability is everything. We keep artwork, colour references and cut files on record, so vehicle eleven matches vehicle one — even if it joins the fleet two years later.
